ALLOY ASCENTS

DESIGN CONCEPT

Alloy Ascents was born from a single gesture—a monumental three-quarter stainless-steel sphere cradling a raw stone, conceived as an art installation that anchors and elevates the entire space. From this dialogue between metal and mineral, precision and imperfection, the project found its name and its soul.

The interior follows a warm contemporary language, yet every sightline was intentionally orchestrated to reveal something eccentric, something unexpected—a detail, a reflection, or a shift in texture that disrupts predictability without breaking harmony.

Here, art is not an addition but the axis of design—a reminder that contrast can be graceful, and that true elevation often lies in the balance between the refined and the raw.

WALKTHROUGH

In Alloy Ascents, the architecture itself was composed with restraint—only the essential walls remained, allowing the space to breathe around the central art piece. This openness created a continuous flow where all seating areas feel connected, unified by proportion and tone rather than partitions.

Function met subtlety through hidden storage, seamlessly integrated to preserve the purity of form. Though the palette included varied materials and colors, each was chosen with a shared warm undertone, ensuring quiet cohesion instead of contrast.

The result is an interior that feels fluid yet grounded—a space where structure and softness coexist, and every surface contributes to the ascending rhythm set by its sculptural heart.

MATERIAL SELECTION

In Alloy Ascents, material selection followed the project’s central dialogue—balance between warmth and refinement. The foundation was laid in Tundra Grey marble, its subtle tone between beige and grey setting a perfect equilibrium for a warm contemporary atmosphere. The staircase became a statement of movement, crafted from Arabescato marble, its bold grey veins flowing across a soft white field.

To introduce natural depth, we paired two oak finishes: a light brown oak that anchors most spaces with quiet warmth, and a deeper shade used sparingly to add gravity and rhythm. Completing the composition, stainless steel accents appeared in two tones—silver for open areas, reflecting light and openness, and champagne in the lavatory, adding a note of intimate elegance.

Together, these materials form a harmonious ascent of texture and tone—refined, balanced, and quietly opulent.
