SPARKS NURSERY

From the earliest sketches, sun orientation guided our design. Every classroom was positioned to receive generous natural light, fostering an environment of warmth and vitality. Each one was also granted direct access to the playground — not just through stairs, but through integrated slides, ensuring that movement, joy, and exploration became architectural experiences in themselves.

Formally, the building takes on an L-shaped configuration, allowing both functional zoning and a sense of architectural intimacy. To anchor its identity, we introduced two monumental circular entrances, evoking curiosity and grandeur in equal measure. The façades were articulated with glass-reinforced polymer cornices and ribbed 3D surfaces, creating rhythm and depth under shifting daylight.

Every window and door was framed in Georgian style, balancing elegance with familiarity — a subtle nod to timeless architecture. Inside, a chromatic dialogue of soft pinks and blues animates the classrooms, while the vestibule acts as a visual axis, revealing glimpses into each learning space to maintain openness and continuity.

This nursery is not merely a building — it’s an architectural playground, where structure and emotion converge, and where form, light, and function come together to nurture imagination as much as education.
